Happy New Year from Xact Data Discovery!

As we have reached the end of 2014, we reflect on the year that has passed to note the many changes experienced and achievements reached in both our personal and professional lives. For Xact Data Discovery, 2014 was a very special year.

• XDD launched a domestic review service in the first quarter to complement our growing offshore review business. New review centers opened in Detroit and in Kansas City, both of which see increased volume every month.

• In May we announced the acquisition of an equity position with C:DOX, a partnership that provides XDD with a presence in the Cleveland legal market while offering C:DOX clients an expanded array of electronic discovery and managed review services.

• To underscore XDD’s commitment to data security in all e-discovery matters, we obtained Safe Harbor certification.

• As part of our continued growth, XDD opened new offices in Atlanta, Georgia, and Century City, California. In addition, we recently announced the relocation and/or upgrade of our offices in Chicago, Dallas and Detroit to support our recent growth in those markets.

• Xact made several important talent acquisitions this year, strengthening our team of e-discovery consultants, project managers and production operations, in addition to our leadership team.

As a founder of Xact Data Discovery, I marked an important personal milestone in 2014 as we celebrated XDD’s 20-year anniversary as a trusted partner to law firms, corporations and government agencies. XDD is among the industry pioneers that have led the evolution from traditional, paper-based litigation support to today’s comprehensive electronic discovery and managed review, both domestically and internationally.

I am exceptionally proud of this company and of our entire team of dedicated employees, without whom all of XDD’s growth and success would not have been possible. As we celebrate this holiday season, I am grateful for all of them and for all of our loyal clients and partners. I look forward to the coming year and to seeing all of the growth and change of the next 20!
